Compatibility Information

Your pump serial number starts with “NG” and can be found on the back of the pump under the belt clip or in the Pump Menu > Status > Pump.
Medtronic CGM is required to use SmartGuard™ feature† (If you answered “Yes-Medtronic” above, select “Yes”)
See Device Compatibility link below*. If you do not personally own a compatible device, you can borrow a friend's or family member's for the upgrade.
• Continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) is sold separately. If I am currently using CGM, the MiniMed™ 780G system uses the same transmitter as the one I am using now for the Guardian™ Sensor (3). The Guardian™ Sensor 4 will use a new transmitter.
• The MiniMed™ 780G software update cannot be reversed back to the MiniMed™ 770G once updated.
• The remainder of the warranty on my current pump will stay the same when I update to the MiniMed™ 780G software (I will have the same warranty end date).
• Medtronic may inform my Healthcare Professional that I have updated my pump from the MiniMed™ 770G to the MiniMed™ 780G.
• Medtronic can communicate with me regarding diabetes products by telephone, text, fax, mail and/or e-mail.
• I have read and agree to the Terms of Use which are linked below.
• I have read and am aware of our privacy policy linked below.
• I grant Medtronic Canada ULC permission to send me updates on diabetes and diabetes technology.
